The Family Village

At The Family Village, our mission is to provide essential support and resources to children in need within our community, ensuring they have the necessities to thrive. We serve children in foster care, those at risk of entering foster care, and those who have experienced traumatic events such as natural disasters, domestic violence, or the loss of a parent. Through our comprehensive case management and our boutique-style clothing closet offering everything from beds and bedding to clothing, formula, and diapers, we strive to meet the individual needs of each child.

 

Guided by the principle that no child in need is ever turned away, we collaborate with other nonprofits, DCFS, first responders, and various churches to create a network of support. Our goal is to foster love and hope in the lives of the children we serve, ensuring they feel cared for both in our presence and beyond. By keeping even a single child out of foster care, we consider our mission a success. With a compassionate, motherly approach, we meet children and their families where they are, providing personalized, heartfelt assistance every step of the way.
